Here you can find answers to the most frequently asked questions concerning the use of the HemmaKoti.com service. Ordering the service takes easily place completely online and requires signing up as a user of the service the first time.

We understand that life doesn’t always go as planned. Sudden changes in schedules are possible. You can cancel for free up to 24 hours before the scheduled time. Cancellation is done through the cancellation form. After that, you can choose a new time.

After a work order is completing, you can rate the service from the service order view when logged in. There are five stars next to the service provider’s photo. The rating scale is from 1 to 5 stars. Click the star to change the colour. Five stars is the best rating. The more ratings a service provider receives, the better each customer can compare different service providers.

The average rating given is displayed in the search results for each service provider. The ratings are displayed when the service provider has completed work orders or the rating has been made by the customer.

You can discuss and ask questions in the My Orders menu for each selected service. Here, you can, for example, specify the time estimate and discuss any tools and the content of the work. Detailed address information is also exchanged securely in the chat. The chat will remain open until the scheduled time of the service and for 48 hours after the completion of the work.

The use of the HemmaKoti.com online service is completely free of charge. A payment obligation arises between the service provider and the customer, for which we offer the Paytrail online payment service.

You can also order services for another person. There are two different ways of doing this.

  1. You can order a voucher for the amount you want. The voucher is valid for one year from the date of order and is delivered electronically. The order is made by e-mail to info@hemmakoti.com.
  2. You can order services by logging into your profile. Select the service, time and service provider. Tell the service provider of your choice that you are ordering the service for your own parent, for example. In this case, the payment and communication takes place in the chat through you. In this case, you will be able to benefit from the tax credit for household expenses, where applicable.
